There are free 3D modeling programs available on our student and teacher computers. Other programs or applications can also be used.
This category has the least amount of entries each year because I think that kids don't know what they can do with 3D modeling. One year, a sixth grade student created a floor plan to an addition of their house using Google Sketch Up. Some of our students use Blender to create 3D models of shapes or images. Both of these are available as free downloads if students are working on projects at home.
